Abstract

Section caesarea at the NTB Provincial General Hospital is a surgery that is often done and has a very large risk of surgical wound infection. Prophylactic antibiotics are used to prevent certain bacterial infections that are sensitive to these antibiotics before coclonization and multiplication accur, so prophlaxis is often successful. Evaluation of the use of antibiotics in caesarean section patients in NTB Provincial Hospital is cefotaxime and ceftriaxone which belongs to the third generation cephalosporin group. This study aims to determine the evaluation of the use of Antibiotics Use Guidelines (PPAB) in the Regional General Hospital of West Nusa Tenggara Province in June 2019. This research is a descriptive study with retrospective medical record data collection. Analysis of the right patient, right dose,right drug, right frequency, and right indication. The results obtained from this study indicate that for the right patient 100%, the right drug 4%, right the indication 100%, the right dose 100%, and the right frequency 100%, so the accuracy of the use of antibiotics in patients with section caesareais 80,8%.
