Abstract
This study intends to describe legal skills in the prespective of indigenous people by photographing the implementation of merari’in sade community. This research is a normative legal by not putting aside empirical research conducted through library research and interviews, to be analyzed qualitatively based on legal, conceptual and socio legal aprroach. The result show that sade community tends to interpret a person’s legal maturity from the real aspect, namely the fullfilment of “aqil balig” indicator, which sade women are also skilled in weaving to strengthen the definiton of legal skills based on national laws such as marriage law. in addition, it is necessary to make legislative efforts to review the marriage law by making the values of local wisdom as a source of ideas so that national law does not exists in a vacuum due to its inability to respond to the values of life and apply around it. keyword : legal skill;, sade community; merari’
